Bleach & Tone FAQs

Bleach & Tone FAQs

How long does a bleach and tone appointment take?
Allow 3 to 4 hours, depending on your hair length, thickness, and colour history.
How often do I need a bleach retouch?
To avoid banding and maintain your blonde, we recommend every 4–6 weeks. Longer regrowth may require a full bleach or colour correction.
Will bleach damage my hair?
While bleach is a strong chemical, we include bond-building treatments like Olaplex during the service to minimise damage. Aftercare is essential!
Can I go platinum in one session?
It depends on your starting colour, previous dyes, and hair health. If you have dark box dye or build-up, multiple sessions may be needed for safe, even results.
What should I do to prepare?
Arrive with clean, dry hair and avoid heavy products or oils beforehand. If you’re new to lightening, we recommend a consultation first.
What’s included in the bleach and tone service?
Full-head lightening, customised toner, bond care (e.g. Olaplex), and a professional styling finish.
How is bleach and tone different from balayage or foils?
Bleach & tone lightens the entire head for a uniform blonde, while balayage and foils offer selective placement for a more natural, dimensional look.
